São Paulo, August 10, 2026. Between finding an event and deciding to participate lies a sequence of choices: filtering the program, saving an option, remembering the date, organizing a plan, and deciding whether that interest should remain private or appear to other people. FESTAS, a Brazilian event discovery platform with nationwide coverage, is presenting the product principles that guide this journey across the web and its iOS and Android apps.

For business media, partnerships, and investment conversations, FESTAS is positioned as music-led social & experience discovery. The product thesis is direct: “Music creates the affinity graph. Events create the intent graph.” Genres, artists, venues, and favorites help organize affinity. Interest in an event adds the context of a date, place, and intent.

The catalog is the starting point

FESTAS helps people find parties, concerts, and festivals by city, date, music genre, artist, or venue. Personalized recommendations help organize the available options, while favorites and push and email reminders resurface followed events as their dates approach.

Shared lists address another part of the decision. People can collect options, invite friends, and discuss the program in one place. Discovery, recommendation, reminders, and coordination serve different purposes, but belong to the same journey.

“Discovering an event solves only one part of the decision. There is still a path between becoming interested, remembering the date, making plans with friends, and deciding to participate. FESTAS was built to support that journey. The social layer adds context without making exposure mandatory,” says Leo, creator of FESTAS.

The social experience depends on choice

In the apps, each person decides whether to keep their interest in an event private or appear to other users interested in the same program. Photos, bios, cities, music preferences, and social links are displayed only according to the information provided and each person’s visibility choices.

Conversation within FESTAS becomes available after a reciprocal connection. People who do not want to use the social features can continue discovering, saving, and organizing events normally. The principle is to add context without making visibility a requirement for using the product.

A journey that began in 2007

FESTAS continues a journey Leo began in 2007, at age 14, with Action Vibe. Before apps became mainstream, the project already brought technology, music, content, events, and social features together. The current product carries that experience forward through an architecture built for web, iOS, and Android.
